Take me to an ADHD specialistIn the ADHD brain, the team that filters out distractions is understaffed.
Who?
ADHD might be a unique experience for each person, but there are common threads that bind us together. Our goal is to get life going in an overall positive direction because of, not despite ADHD.
Why?
Experts theorize that ADHD results in part from a dysregulation of dopamine in the prefrontal cortex of the brain — the lobe responsible for so-called executive functioning; i.e., decision-making, problem- solving, judgement, and impulse control. Sound familiar?
How?
It's been ingrained in us for far too long that seeking help is inevitably an unpleasant journey leaving us with the options of enduring misery or transforming into emotionless beings on some toxic concoction. But here's the thing: getting treatment is a path towards rediscovering our authentic selves and finding the balance we've been missing.
LET'S FACE IT
we're all too eager to label behaviors, feelings, and actions as mere quirks or personal fumbles.
But hey, sometimes there's more to it than meets the eye! It's like unraveling a mystery—was it conditioning, traumatic experiences, a glitch in the system, or some cosmic misfire?
Strong Emotions
People with ADHD are often known for their strong reactions. — every feeling may be more intense. With positive emotions, this can make people with ADHD more interesting and engaging. Not so much with the negative ones.
Anger
One of the (many) missed symptoms of ADHD in both adults and kids is a quick temper, anger, and even feelings of rage.
Anxiety / Sleep
Ever noticed how those hyperactive folks who can't sit still during the day somehow manage to channel that energy into becoming nocturnal creatures when they're supposed to be, well, the opposite?
Magic Match.
Navigating the vast complexities of the human body and mind is no easy feat for doctors. When it comes to ADHD, It's a puzzling adventure where even the experts find themselves playing detective in the wild world of neurodiversity.
What if you're not just a perpetually flawed individual destined to embrace it or go down swinging?
Believe it or not, trying something to make things better could have a pretty powerful domino effect.

You tell yourself, "I can stop at any time." Followed by...
you never stop.
Then you tell yourself that it’s not a problem. Let's get you to a brighter place.
Porn addiction is an attachment to using pornography that is difficult to cease despite the negative consequences.
Who?
A growing body of scientific research characterizes both substance and behavioral addiction as disorders involving the reward system of the brain. Addiction is a disorder of this reward system.
Unlike overeating (where you’re limited to your stomach capacity), or gambling (where the size of your wallet limits you), there are virtually no limits to how much porn a person can use.
Unlike overeating (where you’re limited to your stomach capacity), or gambling (where the size of your wallet limits you), there are virtually no limits to how much porn a person can use.
Why?
Big porn capitalizes not only on the longing for sexual gratification but also preys upon individual insecurities, shame, and loneliness—similar to how fast food conveniently provides a cheap and quick remedy to hunger.
After prolonged exposure to pornography, studies have shown this can have a negative effect on your brain.
This means your neuro pathways in the brain get rewired due to the firing of dopamine and other neurochemicals being released.

This means your neuro pathways in the brain get rewired due to the firing of dopamine and other neurochemicals being released.
How?
Even if your sexual desires have become twisted and convoluted, freedom isn’t that far away. The brain is a plastic organ, it can evolve, hanging on is the difficult bit.
YOU ARE CAPABLE OF SO MUCH MORE.
Open up to entirely new lifestyle. No guilt, shame, remorse, regret, dirty sheets, bags under eyes...
The science behind the brain’s ability to heal from addiction is based on the same science behind the ways the brain gets twisted by addiction. Neuroplasticity is a double-edged sword, able to shape our neural pathways to create unhealthy behaviors, but also able to reshape our brains back to normal functioning.
You need more and more to feel satisfied.
Increase the intensity of the type of porn you use. The frequency, and watching for longer periods.
You're unable to stop.
You are not able to stop the use of porn even though you are aware it’s harming your life. You experience anxiety and frustration in response to not being able to watch it.
Sexual dysfunctions
More insidious than the physical effects of porn addiction is its effects on emotional and psychological well-being. Porn may make you less able to perform and less interested in people-based sex.
Magic Match.
Remember you deserve self respect. You owe it to yourself to better yourself, and so does everyone else. You can start making better decisions that will challenge you and benefit you, stay strong!
Let's make this a journey that you take to be the person you want to be. Your therapist can help you reboot towards natural and people-based sexuality. Get back self control. Feel confident with yourself, your body.

Condition
Men's Issues
Dysfunctional families come in many, many flavors.
One thing is certain: whenever there’s any kind of dysfunction, the child’s needs are not met.
That’s why it’s so important to reconnect with yourself as an adult: so that you’re able to meet your needs, honor your feelings and break the cycle of dysfunction.
Life in a dysfunctional family is usually filled with chaos
and characterized by an extreme lack of structure. There’s no secure base for the child to return to — in fact, the base is the source of the problem.
Unfortunately, dysfunctional families avoid change.
YOU CAN’T FIX THEM. YOU CAN’T
RESCUE THEM.
RESCUE THEM.
The only thing you can do is focus on yourself and heal the wounds they left.
Many people spend their entire lives normalizing dysfunctional behavior and minimizing generational trauma.
It doesn’t matter how polite and respectful you are. It doesn’t matter how calmly you express yourself. It doesn’t matter how much you try to help them, fix them, or rescue them. Nothing matters because you are not the problem.
Get Startedwithout awareness, you can’t take your power back.
YOU CAN’T UNLEARN COPING MECHANISMS THAT NO LONGER SERVE YOU
YOU CAN’T HEAL FEARS AND INSECURITIES YOUR PARENTS PASSED ON
AND YOU CERTAINLY CAN’T RECONNECT WITH YOUR TRUE, AUTHENTIC SELF.
Dysfunctional families avoid direct and clear communication.
If you grew up in a dysfunctional family, you probably don’t know how to express your needs and feelings in a clear, honest, assertive way. There are many reasons why.
Because you were raised in an environment where people express themselves through chaos, exhibiting behaviors like:
- Passive-aggression,
- Silent treatment,
- Manipulation and gaslighting:
- Emotional volatility:
- Or, using third parties to communicate
Types of dysfunctional families include:
The pathological family
One or both parents struggle with addiction or mental illness, leaving the children in charge of their own lives (and responsible for taking care of the parents);
The dominant-submissive family
There’s a parent that dictates the emotional state of the family, with no regard to the wishes or feelings of the other family members;
The chronic conflict family
Arguments and disputes are the norms;
The chaotic family:
Family rules and expectations are unclear, and parents frequently come and go;
The emotionally detached family:
Parents are typically cold, showing no love, affection, or support to their children.
Magic Match.
If the condition has started to affect your ability to function normally in life, see a professional. Really, there are specialists who can help.
It's not exactly a walk in the park, but don't fret! The good news is, there are real-world, real-time solutions out there that can lend a helping hand. Take a moment to explore them and find your way to a smoother path ahead.

If we learn to view our family a bit more calmly and objectively — as they are, not as we want them to be — our healing journey becomes way easier.
Children of dysfunctional families tend to carry on the cycle of dysfunction into their own lives and into their own families. However, it’s possible to break the cycle.
